Our Women Making History Celebration and Awards Ceremony is once again bringing together some of the most accomplished women in all aspects of business, media, arts, and politics to champion each other’s achievements. This year, attendees will be able to mix + mingle with award winners and other guests in a beautiful garden setting.
This highly-anticipated event is being held on Sunday, June 25th from 11am-3pm at the historic Pennsylvania Society of Colonial Dames. Tickets include an open bar, endless food and live entertainment.
This year’s award recipients will be announced shortly. Past award honorees included: Lynn Yeakel, Joan Shepp, Cynthia Link, Marilyn Russell, Leslie Richards, Jeri Lynne Johnson, Judge Renee Cardwell Hughes, Rep. Rosita Youngblood and Councilwoman Maria D. Quiñones-Sánchez.
This event benefits The Walnut Club’s programming, workshops and education that supports the advancement of women in the workforce.
The Walnut Club is a progressive, member only non-profit organization that connects high-achieving women to each other and to the best of what Philadelphia has to offer.
Founded in 2015, The Walnut Club is a community of forward-thinking, ambitious and supportive professional women. The Club curates resources and experiences that provide members opportunities to gain access to knowledge and networks that foster professional and personal growth.
